Leader in the production of phonetic prostheses

Amplicord has been producing and distributing voice prosthesis speech aids since 1975. Our electrolarinxes are Class I, non invasive medical devices that allow patients whom have undergone larynx surgeries and vocal chords asportation to communicate vocally. The mass production of the Electrolarynx and its distribution, both in Italy and abroad, began in the early days of the company, using mechanical components for manufacturing processes. In 1988 the company turned to sole proprietorship and in 1991 it registered a patent for the Electrolarynx on aspects concerning its battery ports; meanwhile its production processes underwent further transformations, beginning to make wider use of electronic components.
