The new 55X Electrolarynx sports a cylindrical body with a power switch and two small dials to set tone and volume. The body of the device is smooth and compact, fully manufactured in hypoallergenic, hard-wearing plastic materials. The materials in contact with the epidermis guarantee perfect tissue compatibility, in order to avoid any risk of skin infections.
The electrolarynx is not designed to enter in contact with material or substances different from the throat epidermis of the user, nor with any medicinal compounds: thus risks may be considered non existent.
The latest materials, developed through constant testing and research, give the new 55X a more natural voice output, while the updated design makes it a more practical and handy product to carry around and use on a daily basis.
Destination
The new 55X is a Class I electromedical device aimed at patients whom have undergone surgery to remove vocal chords.
The electrolarynx must come into contact with the skin of the neck, in an area that is not damaged and is apt to produce phonemes.
The vibrations produced by the device when in contact with the user’s throat are sent back to the oral cavity and, together with the lip movement, allow the user to speak clearly and with no effort.

Warranty
The Amplicord Mod. 55X voice prosthesis speech aid carries a 2-Year Limited Warranty (24 months), provided the device shows no signs of fall, drops or manumission.
The power charger and the rechargeable battery are excluded from this warranty.
